Vanishing Inc Masterclass Live lecture by Nick Paul (Week one)
 – vanishingincmagic.com

Take advantage of your exclusive opportunity to learn the best material and real-world insights from a seasoned performer who has captivated audiences in 20 countries across four continents. Extremely talented in the core trifecta of magic skills: performing, creating, and consulting, Nick Paul is the type of lecturer that’s guaranteed to help you become a better overall magician.

After many years as the trusted opener and touring manager for Justin Willman, Nick Paul branched out to forge a successful solo career. He has entertained Fortune 500 companies like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, and even performed 800+ shows at Walt Disney World. His work has taken him around the globe on major cruise lines such as Disney Cruise Line and Virgin Voyages, and he is a regular performer at prestigious venues including the Chicago Magic Lounge and Hollywood’s Magic Castle.

A skilled writer and creator, Nick has consulted for popular shows like Magic For Humans and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. He has also brought his signature blend of humor and magic in front of the camera with appearances on national television programs such as Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Conan. His commitment to simplicity, clarity, and humor shines through in every performance

Known for creating routines that pack small and play huge, Nick shows how modern technology and smart scripting can elevate your act without overwhelming you—or your audience. Everything in this Masterclass was taken from real-world experience as a cruise ship headliner and corporate entertainer. This is practical and powerful material for all skill levels that is ready to be inserted right into your working repertoire.

During the “Nick Paul Masterclass,” you’ll learn a variety of routines for all types of performance situations from close-up to parlor and stage. Everything is designed to maximize impact with minimal setup. Along the way, Nick also shares professional tips for scripting, character development, and running a full stage show’s worth of tech from your pocket.

The “Nick Paul Masterclass” contains two full-length lectures accompanied by high-quality performances of the routines and the necessary supplementary materials. A special section is also provided for you to submit any questions you have while watching. Those questions will then be answered during a special Q&A interview that will be recorded and uploaded to your account.

Masterclass 1: September 7, 2025 (4pm ET | NYC Time)

Multiplying Bottles
Nick’s take on the classic Multiplying Bottles routine. It’s performed without speaking and features a tablecloth pull that adds a new layer of surprise and visual impact.

Page-to-Spectator’s-Back
A page vanishes from a book and reappears stuck to a participant’s back. A practical, non-gimmicked version of the classic Pegasus Page plot.

Lobster Dog (Close-Up and Stage Versions + Customizing Your Own Routine)
Someone picks an animal (let's say it’s a lobster) and you open up a prediction reveal…a photo of a dog. The audience thinks you’ve messed up. But then you reveal the full poster and show the dog is wearing a lobster costume. You’ll learn the force and switch techniques, as well as the no-special-app-needed Digital Force Bag-style forcing method Nick uses in his parlor and stage shows. The necessary photo files to perform the trick as written are included. However, as you’ll see, this routine can also be easily customized.

Modern Miser’s Dream
A fun, streamlined version of the Miser’s Dream using a Mikame gimmick. An approachable and entertaining version that will make you fall in love again with the timeless classic.

Dad’s Aces
An entertaining four-Ace routine where the Aces are not only found but are also revealed to have special designs printed on their backs. Inspired by David Copperfield’s "Grandpa’s Aces" (aka “MacDonald’s Aces”) and refined with help from Jon Armstrong and Siegfried Tieber.
